Report problems with road or track conditions

Although cycling is a great pleasure, unfortunately we all encounter problems during our rides. Poor road conditions, obstructions, fly tipping and illegal traffic affect us all and should be reported to the appropriate authority. You can't rely on other people to report issues that you encounter. When reporting problems ensure to include the following:
  • Nature of problem (pothole, fly tipping, other)
  • Exact location and time of problem
  • Extent of problem
  • Details of problem (nature of fly tipped material)
  • Details of people and vehicles involved
  • Your contact details

The International Mountain Bike Association - UK (IMBA-UK) has some great information on issues related to public rights of way. Their website includes a very useful reporting form for bridleway obstructions.

Unfortunately poor road or bridleway conditions sometimes lead to accidents. If you're involved in a cycling related incident or accident, we will appreciate a report. Please click here.
